Advantages of the Production Line
These brake pad-specific lines feature automated and highly efficient production, save space, reduce material turnover, enable continuous processing without product downtime, ensure stable and reliable dimensional accuracy, and eliminate the need for substantial manual labor.

The automated assembly line enables 15-20 automated production processes
- An automatic sheet loading system capable of handling 30-50 blank brake pads.
- Fully automated external arc rough grinding with automatic conveying.
- Fully automated internal arc combination grinding (grinding arc length, chamfering, grinding inside, and brushing) with automatic conveying.
- Fully automated high-efficiency modular drilling machines with automatic conveying (for rivet holes, limit holes, and observation holes).
- Fully automated external arc precision grinding with automatic conveying
- Fully automated dual-limit line grinding and width grinding with automatic conveying.
- Fully automated internal and external arc surface dust brushing, internal arc marking, and automatic conveying.
- Fully automated end face rotary marking (transfer printing, coding, laser marking) with automatic stacking conveying.
- Fully automated film application, film cutting, heat shrinkage, and automatic conveying.
- Fully automated case sealing, packaging, and automatic conveying.
The above production line realizes full-process grinding, drilling and marking operations, including automatic feeding, outside rough grinding, inside combined processing (double-sided chord length grinding, double-sided chamfering, inside grinding and dust brushing), drilling (rivet holes, limit holes and inspection holes), outside precision grinding, double-sided limit line grinding, double-layer width grinding, inside and outside dust brushing, inside marking, and end face marking (pad printing, inkjet coding, laser marking and hot stamping), as well as automatic stacking.
Matched with the packaging line, it can complete a full set of packaging procedures: automatic shrink film wrapping, film cutting, shrink film curing, box packing, box sealing, strapping and automatic stacking.
Production Line Operations
The entire grinding line measures approximately 13–20 meters in length (excluding end face coding and packaging lines). Two dedicated production lines (AB lines) can be arranged opposite each other, requiring only 2–3 operators.
One operator loads the slides onto the grinding machine (approximately 30-50 slides per cycle) and utilizes the 6-10 minute interval after slide loading to conduct line inspections and perform random on-site sampling of products.
One person operates behind the assembly line, handling box opening, boxing, attaching quality certificates, and arranging finished product boxes.
The facility can also be designed in a U-shape, allowing one operator to manage both ends simultaneously and run two production lines effectively.
Labor savings
Taking the combined processing of the AB two-line assembly lines for the commonly used 4515 model as an example, the two dedicated post-processing lines-grinding, drilling, coding, and packaging are fully automated. Currently, the single-shift output per AB line reaches 6,000-7,000 units, requiring only 1-2 operators, which reduces labor by 3-4 times (equivalent to saving 7-8 personnel).
When calculated based on equivalent production volume, this would save approximately 10 workers.
Important Notice
While numerous so-called brake pad processing lines are currently being marketed, most are still in the R&D and trial phase. However, virtually none offer stable and reliable quality, practical efficiency, or timely service.
