Purpose
Suitable for hot-pressing disc brake pads for various heavy-duty trucks, buses, construction machinery, and passenger vehicles. Customizable into multi-chamber spring molds according to customer requirements.
According to the pressing process, it can be divided into preform mold and one-time molding mold.
Performance Features
The die plate is forged from high-quality 40Cr die steel and precision-machined, achieving a heat-treated hardness of 40-420. The surface coating layer has a thickness of 0.03-0.05mm. The feeding chamber on the plate is formed by wire cutting. The die consists of an upper die, middle die, base plate, and spring. The upper and lower dies are precision-milled on a grinding machine and equipped with an electric heating system, offering advantages such as simple operation, low labor intensity, high precision, and stable quality. It is a specialized die designed for OEMs and premium products.
Operating Method
Before operation, adjust the press stroke. Place the blank or loose material into the die cavity, then position the coated steel back in the positioning plate. Depending on the formula, the die stroke is controlled by the press’s stroke switch. After degassing, maintain pressure for 3-12 minutes. During ejection, place two spacer plates on both sides of the die plate. The press lowers, and the convex die in the die cavity pushes out the formed steel back.
It can be paired with fully automatic presses or intelligent pressing systems.
Heating system
The heating system can be customized according to user requirements.
