Equipment Overview
Model BY508C P.V. brake pad surface (top arc) compound grinding machine is mainly used for surface grinding and top arc grinding of P.V. brake pads. This is a custom-built machine for laboratory use, featuring easy operation and stable grinding dimensions, meeting customer requirements for machining accuracy of workpiece surface and top arc.
Equipment Outline Drawing & Main Unit Assembly Drawing

Main Structure & Working Principle
The machine mainly consists of four parts: main frame, surface worktable assembly, surface power head assembly, and main unit outer guard assembly.
This is a special brake pad surfacing machine. All moving parts of the grinding head are driven by stepper motors with linear slides. The working turntable is driven by a standard motor with variable frequency speed regulation. The whole processing process is controlled by program. Grinding thickness (and top arc radius) is adjusted and positioned by manually inputting parameters on the operation panel. Workpieces are clamped by special fixtures with manual adjustment.
